The ship recycling has been an industry for almost a century and countries like India, China, Bangladesh and Pakistan have been  most active in this field. Prior to 1976 the import of vessels was not permitted in India. The Metal Scrap Trade Corporation canalized to  open this. Even then so, direct import was still not allowed until 1982. Alang, a sea-port located in the state of Gujarat was considered  suitable because of its high tides and long coastline. Today Alang is known internationally and is considered one of the largest Ship  Breaking yards in the world having 270 plots. Alang Ship Breaking Yard demolishes approx 2.5 million tons of vessels each year.

We have had a professional growth of endurance and triumph and our track record is the pinnacle to our success. Today we are the largest in the recycling industry, having our offices at various locations and a substantial market share.

We take an aggressive approach, providing our client's the ability to maximize synergies, cost savings, best practices, and benefits across multiple dealings. We have been aggressive in vessel purchases on ‘As Is Where Is’, creating an worry-free environment for the  client. We further insure that all deliveries are done on time to minimize the risk of a fluctuating market.

Since 2002, we have aggressively and successfully concluded several ship purchases worldwide and thus enabling us to provide us with the capacity to fulfill huge portion of the recycling industry’s demand.

We site some of our recent successes below:

‘Big Red Boat II’ – we successfully purchased the largest Cruise Ship on ‘as is where is’ basis.

‘Minas Gerais’ – we have purchased undertow three large Air Craft Carriers, the last being ‘Minas Gerais’, delivered successfully & safely undertow at Alang (India), at our own recycling facilities on 17th April 2004.
